WHO IS DEDAE'PATRISE?
Even as a small child Dedae' felt she was destined to be a musical force in the world. Though a deceptively quiet, almost shy little girl early on in her life she could not ignore or deny the artistic fire that burned deep inside wanting to be expressed. Well, she most definitely came out of her shell. She’s now a singer-songwriter-musician that's traveled all over the globe working alongside some of the greatest musicians of our time, and still she has much more to give. I have much inside of me that wants to get out; things I want to express and share with those with a ear to hear. I just feel crazy sometimes. Her current work, self-titled CD Dedae' Patrise WORDZ, expresses a great deal of what's on her mind and heart today. She hopes that people will enjoy the smooth-jazzy, funk, neo-soul driven rhythms on the bottom along with her thought provoking lyrics and soulful melodies weaving on the top. “This is my lyrical style.
